93's popular and reliable "Hooks" series has gotten a little facelift and some upgrades. The same minimalist styling (no huge patches, no big logos) now includes new accents colors (white with dark teal and black) and redesigned branding, as well as new fabrics. The 425 GSM High Tech Weave has been replaced with the 425 GSM Advanced Pearl, which is more tightly woven and much more resistant to shrinkage. Innovative hem patching along the front left corner of the Gi adds a splash of color without taking up unnecessary space if this is your competition Gi (leaving plenty of room for team and sponsor logos).

Pants are built from 8oz twill cotton with full-length double reinforced knees. Thorough protection and comfort. Heavily reinforced cuffs and hem, with contrast threading in only select areas.

93brand again uses their thicker and wider EVA foam core collar. The left arm and hip patchwork includes a double-backed patch for a nicer look and more durability. The Hooks v3 is equipped with 3 drawstring loops and a round stretch drawstring.

Pre-Shrunk?

The Hooks V2 mentioned that it was pre-shrunk in the description. Any idea if the V3 is as well?

A2L - perfect fit, Stitching was terrible

I received this Gi on December 2nd, took it out of the bag, and found that the stitching on the right arm was missing a full wrap stitch. The flap on the sleeve came directly out as I put my arm in, and it was heart breaking. The gi fits perfectly, but I am disappointed in the stitching, I expect better.
