Not my favorite

Had many pairs of MMA shorts. I don't care for this material and they tend to be a little restricting.

I'm a 31" waist, would you recommend a 30 or 32? I don't know how much stretch the 30 would have, or how tight the 32 could be tied.

It has a drawstring waist so you could definitely tie a 32 tight enough.

How long are these shorts? I'm 5'3" so I'm not sure if they are too long for me.

Hi Adriana. Each waist size is designed to reach about knee level of the average individual who uses that waist size. Obviously, there is some play there so some people experience length just above the knees and some below.

are they good for the beach also?

These could be used for the beach because they have a drawstring waist. However, just be aware that they do not have the traditional bathing suit netting on the inside.

Looks good performs bad

These are not true to size. Way to big in the waist and restrictive when trying to kick. Pass on these ones.

Great shorts

When ordering take into account they they seem to run a little big. So if you take a 34 waist buy 32. These shorts are excellent! They have a nice separation on the seem on each leg making nice an easy to stretch out and kick without it feeling like your shorts are going to tear. Durable as heck these shorts are and they are sharp looking too. Clean up nice too, no matter what you get on them. They fit nice and can be adjusted in several ways. I give'em 5 stars
