A very good choice for foot gear. The most notable thing about the warrior kicks is the added protection on the instep. Styles with a lot of kicking, such as TKD, generally find that padding to be valuable. Permalink

do you offer a premium set of this foot gear? something that is more durable ? for instance century has a set that is 1/2 thick dip coating and a premium at 5/8

I'm not sure what size I would be. The size chart says that adult medium is size 7-8 -- is that a man's size 7-8 or a woman's? I wear a woman's size 8.

Hi Libby. That chart utilizes men sizes. To convert you would basically take a size to a size and half off your shoe size number. That being the case, you would still fit in an adult medium and would probably fit in an adult small as well.

Good padding - slippery bottom straps

This is my son's second pair of Warrior Kicks; they are being replaced because his feet outgrew them. He chose this model because of the extra top padding. However, the outside margins of the kicks do wear out sooner than I'd like (nothing that can't be repaired with a bit of electrical tape). Initially, he said the bottom strap across his arch, felt "slippery" on the mats - but once he'd worn them for a bit, there were no more traction problems.

Bought these for my 2nd degree TKD son. 6 months later, they are falling apart. He's had many other foot pads that lasted much longer.

Great Kickers

These kickers provide extra padding on the top which makes for great round house kicks. They stay put and work great! Love them!

Macho Warrior Kicks

I spar every Friday night & I love the Macho Warrior line it really can't be beat for quality, fit, durability and price. I usually wear size 10 shoes so I bought the large Macho Warrior kicks. They fit perfect for my barefoot practice sessions but I wouldn't recommend wearing shoes inside of the kick. Unlike other brands, this kick is easy to get on & off and has padding where you need it most. I highly recommend it.
