This purchase was well worth the price. It's a very good product at a reasonable price for a beginning martial artist, and shipping was very quick!  

I ordered my sons gear on March 7, with a estimated delivery date of March 15 or 16th and received it March 10th. All sizes and colors were correct and they even sent return packing slips in case items were incorrect. We were extreamly happy with the quick shipping and service.  

My son loves his equipment and the fit is perfect. Very accurate measurements. I will order from this site again.  

My mother tried to buy this set for my daughter. She was so excited she finally reached the point that her instructor told her she could get her sparring gear. She picked out the pretty metallic blue set, and we placed the order. Because it was being shipped to us but paid for by my mother we got an additional security request. No problem...we understand, right? So we provide them the information they ask for. The next day I get ANOTHER email stating now my mother needs to call to verify her identity AGAIN. I send back an email explaining the situation and get an automated response stating they will get back to me in 24 hours. 3 days later...I call and the boy on the phone is short with me and rude. I tell him the story and he just says...well...we need to verify your mom's identity again...I said..."Is it always this difficult to purchase from your company?" His response was "well...I can just cancel the order for you if that's what you want". So that's what I ended up doing. I just wanted to say thank-you to Karate Depot for getting my daughter all excited for her gear, interrupting my mother's super bowl party to verify her identity (which...as I said...we did understand) but then to ask again? And the rude employee? SO no...DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Rude company. Rude employee. Will be purchasing everything from their competitor. By the way...we have 4 kids and are very involved in the community. We will be SURE to tell everyone not to shop here. Shame on you.

It is an, almost, complete set to practice combat, like in karate Do, you will need chest protection, too. It is very important to avoid major trauma, when allowed. Although the foam is high density you will need to require control in the technique for the contestants, since it is a matter of martial art technique not street fight full blow.

I bought this set for my 6 year old son who is larger than most 6 year olds. I was very impressed with the measuring chart! It was right on for my son and I didn't have to return any of the items. My order was shipped very quickly. One item was on back order but I was notified immediately and had it within a week of the rest of the order. Can't beat the shipping prices here either! I'm very happy with my order and would order from this company again.
