  • 14oz gi weight
  • Classic white
  • Brushed cotton
  • Traditional cut
  • Drawstring waist
  • High response and performance

A fine choice for instructors. The full 14oz material weight makes this gi ideal for demonstrations and formal performances. The response is excellent and compares with other top brands like Shureido and Tokaido (at about half the price).

Traditional cut with drawstring waist. Reinforced cuffs and lapel for added durability. The brushed cotton provides an excellent feel against the skin.

Great Gi and it will pop, looks great after washing. No shrinking when washing so far. I wash the GI by itself in luke warm water, and it looks great and feels great. Made vary well lots of double stiching and strong lapels for throws.
I would not recommend for a new student because it is heavy. I would use the 8.5 oz for new students.

How long are the pants in size 5? I'm 6' and want pants that are not too short on me. Most gi pants are too short as I have long legs. I weight 180.

from absolute top to bottom the pants are 38 inches long on a size 5. This is with no cuffing of the pant legs.

Jacket Length

How long is this jacket compared to a proforce karate uniform or century karate uniform? Just curious.

Hey Alexander. The length is comparable to those models as opposed to the extra long Japanese style of gi tops.

14 oz gi

Is this one of your better GI's.

I guess what I'm asking is can you get a lot of pop or sound out of the GI when doing Kata's.

Thanks

Yes indeed CW. This is a high quality gi and it provides nice feedback during technique. This is the gi that I personally use (for what it's worth).
