Excellent karate-gi for the money - fits well, strong, and durable, best for routine dojo training (Shotokan). Two students of mine had purchased it, so I was able to inspect the heavyweight gi before I, too, went ahead and ordered one. Glad I did.

I'm very happy with the purchase of this Gi. My Sensei and fellow classmates complimented me on how good it looks and No one could believe how cheap it was. By far this is the best quality Gi that I've ever purchased for the dollar and would highly recommend it !  

I bought a size 4 on advice of the Karate Depot customer service personnel and I must say - this gi fits perfectly and makes you look extra sharp when Training. I needed a well fitting heavy alternative to my middleweight gi(which I bought here too) and this one is the one! Love the sound - the cuffs are just right - the gi is damn tough too haha! Oss!  

I train in this Gi 2 to 3 times a week, it has been a pretty good gi so far. it washes well it did shrink a little bit, but I figured it would. I am pleased with it and would definitely order another one. Customer service was great to work with too.  

This is an excellent gi. It did take a while to get used to the heavy weight, and it was hard to iron out all of the wrinkles when it was new. I've had mine for over a year, and it has broken in nicely. I like it so much that I bought another when it was time to retire my Kodomo.  

I ordered this gi days before a tournament. Not only did they get it here on time, it showed up earlier than expected. this is a high quality gi. Alot of my friends and fellow karateka use the century iron man gi. everyone I know including myself think this gi is made better, more comfortable, and somehow seems to stay clean longer. I know that sounds weird, but it just doesnt seem to pick up the dirt from the floor as easy as the other gi's. I am 6' tall and 160lbs and a size 5 fits me perfect. the pants did need to be slightly hemmed, but not much. I highly recommend this gi to anyone looking for a high quality heavyweight gi. I cant think of anything that would make this gi better unless I had a taylor custom fit it for me. best gi for the money by far.  

If you have Tokaido taste and an "el cheapo" budget then this gi is a good buy. I think Fuji makes good quality products at good prices. I wash it cold and air dry it. It is a size 7 and I am 6' 6" tall and 300lbs. "Twisted Steel and Sex Appeal" You will not be disappointed. Just remember this is a thick gi and needs to be cared for properly. Pull from the wash immediately and hand press then hang to dry.  

Great buy overall. My last gi came a bit small and led it to constantly come untied. This pretty much solved all my problems. Bought a size larger, shrinked it in hot wash dry to my size. The material is very nice and sturdy, but not too restrictive. I would say the picture is a bit misleading, the gi came in looking much better(probably just the difference of it being worn vs being alone).

Would recommend this.  

Great gi for the price. Washes well, shrinkage is minimal since I never put my gi in the dryer and it is fairly soft and flexible so I do nor feel like it is standing up by itself. Ordered 2 more.  

I bought this gi not too long ago and I am very satisfied with this purchase! The gi looks very nice and resistant. Quite stiff at the beginning although it does the work very well during the training. It has a nice cut and an awesome sound (snap)! I washed it few times in cold water and it didn't shrink. The delivery was pretty fast.

The quality of this Gi really shocked me considering how much it cost. The fabric is super heavy duty with strong, reinforced stitchwork. Overall, the feel is supple, yet snappy. I will be recommending this Gi to many, and will be ordering at least one more.

Sizing: I am 6'6" and 190 pounds. My inseam in 34". A size 6 fits great.   

I have been in martial arts off an on for over 25 yrs. and have had many different kinds of uniforms from light wght. to super heavy wght. and in my opinion the Sang Moo Sa Pine Tree uniform is one the best ones i have trained or competed in anyway i can't seem to find them in my size here in the U.S. so i decided to give the Fuji a try it seams to be a good uniform for the price it doesn't have the same fill as the pine tree and as for how long it will last well time will tell and as for SHIPPING I ORDER (2) two uniforms one for myself and one for my wife i got mine within (5) five days i am still waiting on hers  

this has to be the worst Gi i"ve ever owned. the fitment is poor, the quality is shoddy, and the design is very poor. in particular the stitching is poorly sewn and the way it's sewn on makes no sense. this is supposed to be a heavy weight gi yet, the first time someone grabbed me i heard stitches tear. after 8 months of use twice a week, the inner tie to the jacket fell off while it was still tied! the other big problem with this gi is that the pants wont stay up no matter how hard you try to tie them. I ended up having to have them modified just to get them to SOMEWHAT stay up. they are way too long as is the jacket, andof course grow in length as you train and begin to sweat. I am 6'4 260lbs. and use a size 6 yet this gi grows to cover my hands after training for a bit. this was a total waste of money. I am going to buy the KD house brand again instead of this garbage. my last Gi was a medium weight KD brand and it was great.  

I am 6'2" 205lb: size 6 fit great! Pants could have been a little smaller in the waist but other than that outstanding product at an affordable price. Thanks, and I will be purchasing more!  

SOLID GI, FITS NICE. CRISP AND HAS GOOD SOUND.  

over the last 20 years i have tried and worn many different uniforms from super-light weight to 14 oz heavy weight and this is by far the most comfortable and resiliant ones i have worn. admittedly at fist it was stiff and hard to move in but that is to be expected with this type of gi, but after a few washes it loosened up and is VERY comfortable. As for being resiliant, i am a competitive breaker in the USBA and i wear it during training and competing with concrete and not even a scratch or tear yet.   

I recently purchased this uniform for my son and I and I must say that I am very impressed! We love it! Next we will purchase sparing gear!:)

This is a good, high quality heavy-weight gee. Good snap from punch and kick. But, as the description states, it is a heavy one. For normal practice I prefer a lighter weight, but for demos and tournaments, this is the gee!  

I haven't broke it in all the way, but I am really liking this uniform. the construction is solid, the reinforcing on the stitches are well done for throwing and grappling work. The only negative point I really have is the sizing. I first ordered a 3, but it was too small, so I got a size 4, which after shrinking in a couple of washes, I still wished it could have shrunk a bit more. A size 3.5 would have been really nice.  

I just trained for my first time in this gi, yesterday night, and I have to say I'm impressed. The gi really responded well. It's a little difficult to get used to, when you've trained your whole career wearing a 10oz. gi, but it's a nice change.   

Nice weight with great snap. Looks sturdy and well made.  

going to throw this out there for sizing info. I'm 5 foot 11 and 245 lbs. The size 6 fits me perfectly with no need to cuff or hem the pants or jacket. Wash it in cold water take it right out and line dry. No shrinking issues with this. It irons out fine. For my tastes and uniform preferences, this is hands down the best uniform I have ever had. In fact, I am going to order 2 more of them.

  

This has everything I look for in a uniform. Well made, strong and the fit is very nice. Just as good as uniforms costing twice as much. It is heavy at 14 oz. but I like that. This will make a great competition as well as an all round Gi. I am very pleased. It will shrink, but if you wash in cold water and air dry you will not have problems.
