A truly all purpose blue gi. This is an excellent choice for beginner students who need a low cost of entry and who can't be certain which kinds of gi suit them best.

This single weave gi approaches a middle weight feel, but is still highly comfortable and maneuverable. The high impact and pull areas of the gi are reinforced to prevent early wear and tear. This gi also features true BJJ cut with a shorter jacket and fit that tapers the body.

Price fix

you currently have this blue gi listed as costing $65.99 & retailing at $87.99. but you have the white version of this gi as costing $61.99 & retailing at $93.99. i think your retail prices are flip-flopped. Permalink

The gi itself is great quality, however, the sizing is way off. I'm a female, 5'2" 125 lbs, so I bought an A1. The pants are fine, they shrunk to fit. But the top is way too long in the sleeves and very large around the chest and shoulders even after trying to shrink. I wanted an affordable blue gi, so decided to go for this. I'll have to get the sleeves tailored to fit appropriately. My husband is 5'6" 140lbs and purchased the same size. He even feels the top is too large and the pant legs a little too long.

SIZING

I am 6'4" 260lbs 38" waist. Do I need an A5 or A6

I think the A5 would probably be your best fit. You would want to be in the habit of using cold wash and hang dry. If you really like spin dry you might want to go A6 because it will shrink up on you roughly one size.

I am 6'2 with long legs so I got the A5 and planned to shrink down the top and keep the pants at that length (I wear 34" length jeans for reference). Surprisingly to me the top did not shrink as much as I would have hoped by washing in hot water and heated drying for the first couple of times. It is just a little long at the wrists and works well for me. A little too much fabric across the chest as well. Pants are perfect which is why I had to go with A5. Hope this helps someone else.

Great Buy!

Sounds like a sales rep, my gi tore within a month, all from some guy gripping the collar in guard, definately not quality.
