Come prepared with the reversible uniform. During randori, you might not know which color would be suitable for you. This gi provides both options in a comfortable and easy-to-use format.

Hi Javier. We ask people to check directly with the http://www.intjudo.eu/ (IJF) to find out if uniforms are approved or not. We don't want to misrepresent their specs and rules.

Hi, I practice Aikido, and I like this gi compare to another Fujis, because this one doesn't have a center seam down in the middle - for better rolling. I have couple of questions:
1. Does the blue dye bleed into the white fabric when you wash it in hot water?
2. I am 5'10" 195 lb and the recommended size is #5. I will use hot wash and spin dry, I am wondering how much it shrinking, do I need to order a #6 or I'll be good with #5
3. I will use only the white side, I don't need the blue pant, can you lower the price for excluding the second pant?

Hi Tory. In regards to question #3 - that's not really how gi production works when manufacturers package a standard product. I would recommend you shop for white uniforms and then reassess your size needs - https://www.martialartssupplies.com/judo-uniform.html.

I'm 5'8 around 170-175lbs not sure if a sz 4 or 5 would be better do to shrinking? I've bought sz 4 in gladiator & pants end up shrinking little bit & in the blue fade pretty badly.

I think the size 4 would be your best bet. You'll get some shrinking if you use hot wash and spin dry, but can minimize that with cold wash and hang dry. Also, you can use color saver laundry detergent to help preserve the blue.

Hi Guhene. Go with the size 5. You should get a good fit with a little allowance for shrinking in the wash.

Hi Ed. I think a size 5 would be form fitting, while a 6 would be comfortable with a little extra space.

I am 5'8 ft tall and weight 135 lb, what size Gi would be best for me? Tried on size 3 before and it feels to be too short for my arms and a bit tight, but you are the experts so what do you think?

Hi Luivel. I think you were in the right ballpark with the 3. However, if you felt tightness I think you should bump up to the 4. If you find yourself swimming in the 4 you can use some strategic shrinking in the wash to find a happy medium.

Hello, want to by this gi, which size do I need, 187cm 75kg? In Germany the sizes are in cm, so my size was 180, 190 was way too big. Size 5 for me?

Hi NNDPT. I think the size 5 would be appropriate for you. It shouldn't need much shrinking (so be cautious with hot wash and spin dry).

Competition

Are these competition approved? I know local tournaments won't be a problem but can they be worn at Nationals and Internation competition?

You'll want to check with the specific organization who is hosting the tournament, but this uniform does meet typical standards for competition.

Suggestion Size for weight and height

A size 3 would be a nice form fitting gi top for you. You wouldn't want to shrink it in the wash. A size 4 would be a bit baggy on you, but could afford a little wash shrinkage.

I think the size 4 would be an ideal fit for you. As for shipping, I don't foresee any problems with Romania. Add your desired items to your cart and go to checkout. An A3 would be comfortable, although a bit long. I think an A2 would be your best bet.

The 4 would be a more conforming fit, although the sleeves and pant legs may ride up an inch or two. If you're worried about wash shrinking, a 5 is a safe play.
