Hey... I found this website looking for a good bo staff... time to do some research.
Excellent.

Tapered Hardwood Bo

I just got my Tapered Hardwood Bo... it came 7days before the estimated shipping date!! it looked like the tapering was a bit thicker on one side than the other, but it worked fine for a beginner bo user like me. with this wonderful staff i've already got the spinning in front and behind down. i look forward to shopping here again!

Balance
Tapered Hardwood Bo

Does this bo, along with all of your others, have perfect balance? ( i could put my fingers at the midpoint and it would not tip in either direction)

Totally new?
Straight Hardwood Bo

Hey, i'm new to the martial arts scene.. but overall i'm looking for a good bo that can stand up to (literally) hitting a tree. Not too heavy, but not too light either. Does anyone have suggestions as to which bo to use? (and will someone explain to me the difference between tapered and straight)

Straight Hardwood Bo

Well, the tree in question is a dead one... just for the feel of striking a target. i ordered the tapered hardwood because i thought that the straight might be a tad too heavy.. is the tapered one still as sturdy? -Thanks
