I bought this for my 5yr old son who is studying Tae Kwon Do and it has proven to be a great training tool for him. Before I bought this for him, I was having him practice his kicks and punches on pillows. And because the pillows were too soft I can't actually feel how strong his strikes are. But now, with this target, I can really feel how much power goes into the target when he execute his kicks and punches.
