Of the 12 I bought of these boards only ONE couldn't be broken by just bending the board.... I definitely can not recommend these for anything aside from demonstrations.  

I bought these for a demonstration I did as part of a talent show. The boards themselves were of acceptable quality and served the purpose well. They are easily breakable and therefore you will have to use a more advanced technique (e.g., higher kick) to showcase your skills. One issue with the boards is that one of the three that I ordered came with a shallow crack in it that extended for several inches, and the boards themselves were not perfectly flat (1 or 2 were slightly bent). I would buy the same boards again for future demonstrations.  

The pine is amazing and tough.  

These boards are pine boards that are meant for breaking- pretty soft and easy to break but good for the price. I recommend these for beginners.
