I recently purchased this product and found the quality was very good.The fit was comfortable and the wrist straps secure, however the thicknes of the padding though providing excellent protection was very stiff, probably not that important to a younger person but I am older person with an occasional flare up of arthritis. So sometimes this can be a problem to make a fist. If the padding was split into two parts ( maybe just behind the knuckles ) this might make it easier to break in. Ethier way I'm not giving up on these gloves they are a great product at a very good price.
