If used in a spar with another of my friends, how hard could we hit these bokken together? Or would they be quite weak? We won't be hitting full strength, but still.
Furthermore, would the cross guard hold up?

Sorry, and thank you for the weight, but I meant the individual lengths. For example another is 40 inches long, but 29' blade, 10.5" handle. What are the dimensions of this one?

Well,I would like to comment on that, if need be, you COULD always use duct tape to give more grip, or something similar.
