I bought this for my oldest son, as my younger two kids had gi's. I also bought a KD gi for myself, and we're very pleased with both. All four of us are just starting out, so I can't offer you an expert opinion, but I can tell you that we're finding them to be very comfortable, easy to move in. I also found that we're more interested in going to class when we're wearing something that 'feels right'. We have a couple hand-me-down cheaper gi's, and you can certainly tell a difference. Price was better than most as well!  

I ordered this recently, and haven't had time to use it much yet, but when I wore it to class the other day, was surprised when the instructor called me out saying that my punches and kicks were quick, as she was noting the "snap" from the gi. I'm just a beginner, doing this with my kids, but having a comfortable, well-made gi makes all the difference. I hate poor quality stuff, and I'm very pleased with this uniform!
