Sparring Gear Carrying Pack

It was a little smaller than expected. My son has a face guard on his head gear and it will not fit inside with the guard on with the hand and foot gear. He just uses the strap to attach it to outside though. It's still a much neater and more compact than the mesh bag we were using. It's made trips to the dojo more pleasant, it will make its tournament debut next weekend.

Third Pair

Heavyweight Black Karate Pants (11 oz.)

I've bought two of the full gi's. In both cases I bought the same size 5 pants. The first fit great. The second, the pants were a bit too snug. I don't know if maybe I messed up and washed them in warm water and it was my fault or not. I ordered a size 6 and had to hem them, but otherwise great. Hopefully a few more pounds dropped and the others will fit better. I think the material in the last 2 pair is a bit softer too.

Well Made

Single Weave BJJ Pants (Black)

These are very tough and well made pants. They are perhaps a bit lighter weight than a pair of 10 ounce heavy weight karate pants, but still not what you would think of as light or medium weight. I am very happy with them.

Replacement Gi

Black Student Karate Uniform

I bought this to replace an older gi my son was wearing. It was a hand-me down from a cousin and was a bit ragged. I was a bit nervous, as I had ordered a gi through his school and the pants were way too long. His sensei said the brand received was not the normal brand from that company. I ordered the same size and the Macho gi fit him nicely. It seems a nice gi for a boy that will probably grow out of it a long time before it wears out.

Bought as extra pants for my son

7oz Student Martial Arts Pants (Blue)

Bought a pair of these and a pair of the red pants for my son. For the price I figured I couldn't go wrong. They seem durable and the color is good. He likes them, and as the school lets the students were school t-shirts as well as gi tops except for tournament practice, demos and test, extra pants are always needed.

Bought to add some color.

7oz Student Martial Arts Pants (Red)

Bought a pair of these for my son as extra gi pants. His school allows them to use school t-shirts rather than gi tops, especially at camps and in the summer, so extra pants seem like a good idea. He loves the color and they seem tough enough. As fast as he grows he will probably need larger well before they wear out.

Rough finish, but otherwise great.

White Wax Tapered Bo

I still have my ancient straight hardwood staff from way back when. When I started training again last year, I noticed how much lighter the tapered staff I was using at the dojo was. Since it was mostly kata, I decided to buy myself a lighter, tapered staff. So far the only gripe I have is that the finish on the one I received is very thin in places. Enough so that the wood grain is easily seen. For practicing kata and tricks, it's great.

Good Quality

Heavyweight Black Karate Jacket (11 oz.)

Started back to training regularly after 7 years of on and off activity. Most of my old karate gis had disappeared. This gi compares favorably with the 12 and 14 ounce gis I used to wear. I love that you can mix sizes on the tops and bottom. No hemming required. If you buy and it fits, wash only in cold and hang to dry otherwise you won't be happy.
