Crafted from high quality lightweight white wax wood, these nunchucks offer the same durability as traditional rattan chucks but at a reduced weight to provide faster motion. These chucks are 12" long with a 1 1/4" diameter. Corded version also available.

5 Star Worthy

I've always cherished the White Wax Wood that is only found and harvested in the northern regions of China. When this Nunchaku got to my home, I was very anxious to put them to the test. The White Wax Octagon Ball Bearing Nunchaku, is definitely 5 star worthy. Why? They passed all the ironhanded tests. These are a GREAT buy. ( Great for practice )

what is the length of the chain/string on this nunchaku?

The string on this nunchaku is about 4 inches across, which is pretty much the traditional length.

Beginner

Im realy interested in getting into the Nunchaku artform, will these be good chucks to start with? im leaning towards a chain set, but worried if the chain will be the right length. any reply would be greatly apreciated =)

Hey 2K - yes this is actually a pretty good set to start with. The rope is easier to adjust and fix should something go wrong. The wood here is also a good texture and weight. Also, if you feel like it, grab a pair of foam nunchaku as well just in case you need a break from bonking yourself, haha.

I own two pairs and they are great for practice due to their weights. The octagon style took me a while to get used to (I used round ones for a long time). The only drawback is they get a little dinged up after extensive use, but what wooden weapon doesn't?

These are a wonderful weapon for novice and advanced users or anyone in between. I used these as my first weapon. They are quite heavy, however with practice you can adjust very easily. I would recommend not to hit yourself with them (but lets face it we all have those mistakes) but these are truly a great weapon.
