Honest review here. There were minor discrepancies when I received these particular gloves, not sure if it was a manufacturing issue or just a bad pair I received. I own the ProMex 14 oz hook & loop professional training gloves and am very happy with those. They took some time to break in but feel great when doing bag and MITT work, I enjoyed them so much which is why I decided to purchase the 16 oz lace gloves for sparring. When I opened the box at first look gloves looked great but noticed the right glove ProMex logo (above the palm) was offset and looked like it was poorly placed. This gave the gloves a "knockoff" look of ProMex and was my major upset of same. I read reviews from people who purchased the red gloves and complaining of the dye bleeding into the laces and handwraps. After a couple rounds of sparring I noticed the white laces to have a bit of red dye near the loopholes where located, it was not significant dye nor did it dye onto my hand wraps but was noticeable. Other than the minor issues I would say the gloves are great starter gloves for those who like to feel their punches and don't have much of a budget to afford more expensive gloves like Cleto Reyes and or Rival. My previous experience is only limited to Everlast training gloves which to me is too soft and I prefer a more stiffer glove where my hands are usually sore after some hard heavy bag hitting.
