Great for a variety of leg and body kicks, this leather shield is put together quite nicely. The stitching is heavy duty, and you can tell that the entire piece was constructed with attention to each detail.
Where the shield really shines is with knees and elbows. The thick padding is perfect for knees and the wide striking surface makes the pad great for spinning back elbows, upward elbows, reverse elbows, and so forth. The combination of vertical and horizontal handles give the pad-holder improved leverage for many of these techniques.
