Hi Tim. These are sold in pairs. So check out the "quantity" field next to the "Add to cart" button. If you have a 1 in there, you will receive a pair and the cart should reflect $9.95.

Nice Product
We purchased these for our 10 year old. He is kind of a big kid for his age so we went to the adult size. Since these offer both hand and forearm protection in one piece of equipment, he is able to save time getting them on and off. Something to keep in mind is that buying too small may restrict circulation and will be more difficult to remove when wet from training. Consider the matching instep/shin pads if they are stocked.

Great Value, Great Product
My husband bought these for himself and they are great! Long enough for a tall man and cushy enough for sparring!

Youth or Adult size
Which size should I pick, I measured the distance of my elbow to my wrist and I am size 9". I am an adult, but it seems like I am under size small. The only options here online is Adult or Youth. Should I get the Youth size?

On the outside of the hand you have about 1/2" of padding, with no padding on the palm (just elastic).

Not so much
These pads provide good protection but the shape of them does not resemble the arm and hand. They are one big piece of pad without a break for the wrist and really do look ridiculous.

Review
It is indeed good protection but a little thicker than I thought it would be. Keep in mind once you get it you have to break it in like one would do with a baseball mitt because initially the guard is very tight. Though it may look cumbersome it is ideal for Weapons training in swords or staffs, however I would not recommend this for those who train with sais or nunchucks because it is too cumbersome for those sort of weapons. In conclusion a pretty darn good product that will not disappoint.
