I purchased this pair of Kama over 2 years ago and am still very happy with both the performance and the overall value. I would definitely recommend this pair to any student looking for an affordable training Kama. I have not had any complaints or issues with regards to bending or balance as others had reported. Again, they are a low-cost training pair that is well worth the $$!  

I wasn't as happy with these as I hoped I'd be. I've had them for a while now, maybe a year. When they arrived, I was distubed by how "rattly" they sounded and felt, and ended up heavily taping them near the blade. I worried that one good jerk might send a blade flying but that hasn't happened yet. The blades will bend when dropped, but they are thin enough to easily straighten with your hand. The blades are also very long, giving the kama an unwieldy, off-balance feel when reversing grips.

Overall, it's a useful practice tool, but I'm looking for something to replace it.   

I purchased these for the blade style. Handles are 15" long. Very nice craftsmanship. Best value for the money.  

I am very happy with the construction and overall appearance of the kama. They are double riveted and have a metal cap over the split ends of the wood where the blades are attached. If the rivets become loose, it is very easy to re-pene and tighten them. The caps are loose but that is to be expected as the wood will shrink somewhat over time. My solution is to tape the top section of the kamas. This also protects the wood wood when you pacticee bunkai with a partner.
