these things were grest as far as i knew looked like some older ones i had that were stolen...except these were natural color. so i get them out look them over for burrs or cracks and start going to work....and then i found it..

the tops of the wood that meets the caps are sharp and splinter into your hands the pair i got was not smoothed and were not sanded and matched up in anyway just like they just jammed the caps on the wood. not good not good at all the object is to not injure yourself here right?

so bottom line while am not really a chucks guy i did learn the chuks and butterfly knife for fun and to have for the added fun of working out and still making some moves...i finally learned some okinawain kobudo and a few real kata bit i found the whole flashy thing to still be fun to workout with and with taijutsu its fin to make it work in there altho not traditionally a part of this ryu. but kali and alot of okinawain stuff seems to fit in well.  

Very nice... no complaints red oak heavy and strong the chain/swivel system seems sturdy and well mounted and is very fluid another great product from karate depot!

ok so I've ordered 3 times from KarateDepot.com, and I'll say overall 5 Stars. My last order was the only problem I've had. First the item arrived on time, and was exactly what I ordered. A+ In that area. My problem is with the product itself, witch may have little to do with the website and more to do with the manufactures. The Nunchaku has a couple of rivets holding the chain to the top of the Nunchaku one of these is damaged. It looks like it's bent and not fully flush with the bracket or piece of metal connected to the wood. It works fine still but I am concerned that it's going to fly apart in use. Not a safe thing to worry about when its rotating at high speed. I like my teeth and don't want to lose any or put a hole in my wall. I still want to talk to customer service and see what they can do for me about this. My advice make sure to check all the details. I feel this way about all things the difference between quality and junk can be just a tiny difference. Have fun be safe and get stronger hope this helped.
