Im pleased with this product overall and just ordered my second pair.

They spin very fast and light and are good for fast movements. The only issues I find with these is that because they are light and the chain is somewhat long, they tend to spin off the wrist during wrist rolling. Also they are a little slippery, which was easily fixed by cutting small grooves into the nunchaku. Happy.  

These are fairly heavy and could be better balanced. One side weighs about 15 grams more than the other. The ballbearing/chain action is very nice.  

I bought two sets of these, one pair is great the other is awful. The good pair is weighted properly and balanced, with one stick weighing in at ~210 grams and the other at about ~212 grams. The bad set however is weighted wrong and extremely off balance, one stick weighs ~230 grams and the other ~185 grams. This makes them extremely difficult to do wrist rolls with and pretty much useless for freestyle. The caps that connect the chain and ball bearing to the sticks are pretty loose too.  

I bought two of these and let me say the are very nice. I love them, they are just what I wanted. Delivery time was fast and track able, witch is a major plus. I got these to practice katas and air strikes, so I'm not sure how they'll hold up for any striking. The chain rolls smoothly, handles are smooth but not slippery. They are pretty heavy, especially if you have worked with padded chucks. Again, nice set of chucks, especially for the price.   

start off learning the swings slowly, and wear at least one wool cap or beanie on your head. one bad swing to the head and you're goin to the ER.
