Great Quality

I went with some of the other comments and ordered a size larger than what my Sensi suggested and man this thing was huge. Im 6'1 250 lbs, bodybuilder type, so my upper body could use the larger size top but the pants where just humungous. I washed them and I think Im gonna have to have them tailord to fit my waist. Other than that this is the best gi Ive ever owned. Its very strong and not thin and flimsy like some other gis out there. Ive been in martial arts since I was 7 so Ive had a few gis this is the best by far. I wouldn't recommend ordering a size bigger though if you are of average build. The pants run really big.Even with the drawstring they are huge. But its a great product.

Runs a little small

This uniform is great quality. My only complaint is that it seems a little small when compared to uniforms from other manufacturers. This may have just been bad comparisons in the size of children in my dojo. Note: this uniform has draw strings, not an elastic waist band.

strings on the gi jacket

i know the waste strings tie the inside and the outside flaps to hold in place. where to tie the strings at the top of the side splits?

When tying a gi top, start out by taking the outermost string on the right flap and tying it to the inside string on the left flap. Then take the outermost string on the left flap and tie it to the split string on the right flap.

I would also recommend once you tie them down to tuck them under. On my gi, same as above, they tend to want to stick out. once you put your belt on you won't notice them if you tuck them under and have your gig line smooth (line of the jackets lappel, Gig line is a military tirm). You should be good to go then. Best of luck.

I agree with the previous reviewer regarding sizes - wish I would have taken their advice before ordering. My daughter is 4 feet tall and 50 pounds. I ordered her the 00 size which states it is for ages 10-12, 4'4" and 60 pounds. We will be lucky if this fits her for a couple of months. The pant length leaves no room for growth and she is 4 inches shorter than the recommended height. Quality for the price is great - nice cotton weight.

Purchased for my son, 7-yr old. Great price for all-cotton. I was expecting something mediocre for the price, I was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended.

Buy this today!!

I bought this gi for my martial arts class, and it was nice. It is comfortable and easy to move around in. It is 100% cotton, so it's not terrible after you sweat in it.

Very good buy

I am pleased with this uniform, which I bought for tae kwon do for my daughter. It is a nice weight, soft, and 100% cotton at a great price! We couldn't find anything near this quality at this price locally. We would definitely purchase from karatedepot again.
