Fantastic spats. They are far better than the first generation Grappling tights made by 93 Brand; the material feels stronger, stretchier, and the ankles/waistband have a good snug fit.   

It fits really well, the only thing is that a rides up a little bit even with the sticky strip trying to keep it down (located inside, near waistline). I purchased a Large, and it fits great on someone 5'9" 200lb.  

I really like the cut/fit, and the quality is top notch. Great materials and construction. I am 5'11" 200lbs and the A3S fits me great; the sleeves started off really long but after three HOT wash/dry cycles, it fits great. The downside is that the all yellow accents (belt loops, drawstring, etc) all bled yellow dye into random faint yellow spots in random places on the pants an jacket, and left a yellow haziness around the waistline.   

This gi is very well constructed, and very comfortable. It feels more substantial than a lot of other gis. The pants are great - I LOVE that they're full ripstop- but the crotch area is a bit baggy - maybe just stylistically different from what I'm used to, so I'm waiting to see if it truly bothers me long term. I love that I get to choose where the patches are placed, and that I didn't have to move any factory patches to place my Academy patches. The downside is that if you don't have the knowledge and equipment to see your own patches on, it can be expensive and slow if you're relying on a tailor or someone else.   

This gi is fairly lightweight even though the material feels really sturdy. It's cut really well, and fits great, plus it has a great look (stylish). The big issue I had is that the rope used to tie the pants unraveled and fell apart. This is a fairly basic part of EVERY gi and so I was surprised, and disappointed to see that happen within a short time using it.   

Great quality. Cut well. I am 5'10" 205lb and the men's Large fits me well. My son is 5'4" 110lb and the men's Small fits him well (a little loose in the torso but not so loose that it's problematic).
