Excellent for bag work

These gloves are excellent for working your striking on the punching bag. They have a plastic D-ring for a more secure fit on the closure. It's very effective, but that ring would be a hazard during sparring. Get training gloves if you're looking to spar. For heavy bag work, these gloves are excellent.

That's a good tip about the plastic ring. Keeping your training partners safe is very important (if you hurt them, you won't have anyone left to punch!)

If I am using a medium gel glove handwrap, should I get a large bag glove ?

Probably john, the gel handwraps tend to be a little thicker and bulkier than standard wraps so the extra room might be good.

women's size

Can a woman that is 125lbs and a handsize that measures 7" around the hand right below the knuckles use these bag gloves? if yes, what size? If not, what bag gloves can you recommend?

Hey Joe. I would say go with the mediums, but buy a pair of handwraps in addition. Junior size would likely be too small, but with medium and handwraps you can get a customized fit.

If the medium turns out to be too big, just let us know and we can conduct an exchange for you.

Size?

The sizing is regular, large, and extra large! How do they size them? I am 15. I am 5 foot 8 and weigh 170. What size should I get?

Difference?

What's the difference between bag gloves and boxing gloves? They look the same to me.

Bag gloves are designed with just enough padding to protect your hands and joints from injury. If you use them against your boxing opponent, you are more likely to cause injury. They are good for using against speed bags or double end bags, where you are not worried about inflicting damage on your opponent :) Boxing gloves are designed with more padding, to minimize damage to your opponent. You may find boxing gloves to be a little heavy for you if you are just using it on a speed bag or double end bag. You should not use bag gloves for sparring.

These gloves are excellent for working your striking on the punching bag. They have a plastic D-ring for a more secure fit on the closure. It works well but could pose a problem if sparring against a partner. The gloves should only be used for bag work.

Great bag gloves, I moved up to a very dense 100 lb bag and my other lightweight bag gloves weren't doing the trick. I have resorted to wrapping my hands as well making the ideal combo with the super bag gloves. I recommend them highly.
