Completely free standing. Heavy-duty 11 gauge and 14 gauge steel construction provides stability and strength. Adjustable from 6'5" to 7'9" tall and is 5'4" wide. Speed bag platform adjusts to as low as 4'10" for juniors.

BUYER BEWARE

The speed bag attachment for this Home Gym is not the same as what is pictured on the website. The speed bag attachment used is designed to be mounted on a wall, but it can be attached to this Home Gym. HOWEVER, the only written instructions in existence are for assembling the Speed Bag Platform and mounting it to a wall. It took weeks to finally get an answer on how to assemble the Speed Bag Platform and attach it to the Home Gym. Parts of the Speed Bag Platform not used in attaching it to the Home Gym are included, only making it more confusing to figure out assembly and attachment without any written instructions provided.

That's interesting etall, we didn't know about the instructions issue. Where did you go for the better instructions? Perhaps we can list the resource here and work to get better instructions included with the item (unfortunately we don't have direct control over that).

complete and well balanced

This 4 station unit has basically everything you would need for bag training. The heavy bag, of course, is the stable of the whole thing.If you add a little weight or security to the bottom footing bars, you can train as hard as you want without the unit shaking. Even without it is very stable. The best thing about this piece of equipment is that a couple of people can use it at a time.
