The mounting boards are too thin to be called heavy duty. If you want to put couple of extra screws into the board, drill it first, or it will split. But for the price and cheap shipping charge - it is pretty good.

What is the distance of travel on the adjustment?

The height of the unit is about 25", which gives you a good foot and a half adjustment.

Very nice sturdy product. The only complaint relates to the mounting instructions provided by Everlast. I can't believe that they were printed up without anyone proof reading them. They are filled with typos, mistakes and suggestions for the wrong hardware (type of screws etc.). I'm not very mechanically inclined but my son was able to figure out the best way to mount it. Other than that minor issue, the platform is great.

Does someone know the distance between the top and bottom bolt holes on the wall-mounting brackets? Also, the length of the mounting brackets? This is regarding the platform that is 1 1/2" thick. Thanks, Steve

Sturdy

Pretty well made and heavy in construction. swivel that came with it works excellent. Adjusting the height is easy to do by yourself and stays in place very well. Much better than there lower priced non adjusting model because of the hard wood platform and overall better made. usually stay away from everlast, but this is all good.

p.s. mounting bolts from platform to wall are not included but very cheap at any hardware store i used 2 3/4" bolts

Good Look

A lot of these adjustable platforms are relatively close in quality, but I liked this one because of the look. The natural wood goes nicely with the room that I have it in. It has just a little more sense of naturalness and blends in.
