My daughter is just starting in karate. So this is perfect if she sticks with it. I can always upgrade if needed.   

It's certainly a nice-LOOKING case, with the KD logo emblazoned across the top. If you're a fan of periodically cleaning your mouth guard by soaking it in a mouthwash-water solution, which goodness do I recommend, you can do it and it'll still be there.

All that being said, you've got about a fifty-fifty shot of your case latching shut and staying that way. A simple rubber band will fix it for you, so it's at least a simple problem to fix. Still, I would recommend one, as it's better than using a baggie and certainly better than nothing.  

The case I received was nice in color, the downside however was that it won't stay closed. The plastic in the front is flimsy and honestly, I'll probably have to add duct tape periodically to keep it closed. I like soaking my mouthguards in mouthwash and I can't do that, and travel with them in that wash.

Bummer. But hey, for $2, what should you expect? ;)

If you intend to get a mouth piece, be sure to get a case as well. One of the biggest problems with mouth guards is when they get dirty or bacteria starts to spring up (from all the moisture). Proper maintenance requires semi-frequent cleaning and a good case to protect it. This one also happens to be very inexpensive, which is nice.  

Mouthguard case doesn't stay snapped closed. I have to use a rubber band. For the price (and the KD logo) they should give these away for folks who buy mouthguards from them.  

Not much to say about it but it's great. A lot better than storing the mouth piece in the bag that it came in.
