I can't believe two other people have rated this stuff as 5 stars! While these pads are of adequate thickness, in reality they are pretty much useless because of how easily they tend to rotate around the calf following an impact. I had to readjust them after almost every kick. They seriously aren't worth it even for $20.  

This item is a high quality item and it fits great. I would recommend this item to anyone looking to protect those shines.
