Cheap

Apparently not meant to last even the first hit.When I contacted the company no one answered.Nor did they contact me back so I couldn't return it for a replacement.The customer service we received is non existent.Don't buy Period.

Timbei

This is the closest thing on the site (that I could find) to a timbei, or sheild. Is there any chance that you could sell rattan or bamboo Timbei?

Hey Anthony. That's a great idea - I've had a timbei and/or rochin on my radar for awhile now. Unfortunately there has not been enough demand to justify the work behind finding a producer and setting it up on the site.

So, for now, this will be the best we have!

Just what we needed

My kids' sensei has noticed improvement since they began practicing using this as a target, so it's doing what we needed it to do. It was a good price and appears to be sturdy and well made.

Excellent Target

With the horizontal curve, it is more comfortable to hold than the square hand targets. Plus, I like the more area, it gives me less chance to hit my partner.

Thigh protector

Has anybody modified this pad to wear on the thigh for leg kick pad work. Was hoping to wear focus mitts, body protector and two of these on my thighs for a full body target when doing pad work. If anyone has attempted this please let me know.

I bought this for my 7 year old son and its a great product. Its perfect for his size. If your an adult it would be more of a punching shield for you, but great for kids.

This shield is a good buy nice and thick. Only thing is, it's too small for me its more like a target then a shield. I have a Massive side kick I can only use it on Punching bags. But this is still good.

Excellent shields. The only thing that might make them better is to manufacture this product with an adjustable hand grip. Overall, I would rate this as being excellent in terms of quality and value for your $$.

This shield is not only good for kicking but it is also good for weapons training. We use these shields in Kenjutsu tournaments and they work great.

When I hold this shield it is very comfortable, when I kick it, it is very powerful. I not only use this shield for kicking but I use it for punching as well. A great product and a great price!
