Poor Quality

The quality of the display is terrible. It's very flimsy and I didn't realize that they give you stickers to put on it rather than have better quality looking flags to place on the holder. I sent it back. What made it worse was that I had to pay for shipping for a poor quality item!!! I can't remember the last time I had to pay to return something that looked and felt so CHEAP!

What product holds the belt to each row. I want to buy but not if belts are held onto each level by tape or stickers.

Korean Flag

I practice Taijutsu and would like to purchase this but I do not want the Korean flag. Is this removeable on this? OR would I need to cover it up with something?

Poor quality manufacturing

The part is not up to the price charged. I would expect it to cost more on the order of $5-10. The manufacturer has significant quality problems. Not only are there fewer slats than belt levels, but some are unusable due to missing open metal eye hooks. I gave it two stars because some of it is usable, and there is just not much of a choice out there.

10 Levels?

Is there any way to get more belt displays? If I have my count right, for both martial arts in my system, to 1st Dan, there are 12 belts. I do not have to display them all, but I want to. Is there a way to get more levels?

I don't believe we sell a display with 12 belt sections. You may have to get a little creative by buying a second racking and taking some of those clips and applying it to your primary rack.

Happy~

I gave one to my son last christmas, and one to my son this christmas to display all his hard work. (he is a red stripe belt,two away from a black belt)He is now 8yrs. old. They look good next to each other.(no flaws)Shipped almost right away, had it in a couple of days.

I kept the belts on the display by tieing them on, just like you would for Karate on a person.

worked for me

I wanted something that was simple and inexpensive. Once I put it all together and hung it up it looked just fine and was just what I wanted. You can pay more and get nicer ones that are heavier and sturdier built, but for a lower budget this one is fine.

I was so excited to get this for my son for Christmas so he could display his hard work. When I received it, there was NO flags, the embossed dragons looked nice until they nailed them on, and then there was a smug mark on the wood, almost like someone put their thumb on it before it was dry. I am so disappointed in this product and I feel cheap giving it to my son when I spent $25 on something that looks like a dollar shop item!

I agree. It definitely looks like a dollar store item. I also returned i- The pieces of wood that hook together are very thin and plywood looking- the hooks that are screwed into the wood are screwed in at different lengths- so the levels hang crooked and some of the screw hooks broke off completely and there were no directions. The only good thing was that the Karate Depot took it back gracefully and credited my account with no problem.

The KD site is nto allowing more ratings to be added, but I woudl give it a 2. The part is more like a $5 item. What seems worse is that the quality problem with the metal eye screws that were in another belt display is also present in this one. The open eye screws hook onto the closed eye screws have been mixed up, and there are not enough eye screws to hook - so some of the slats are unusable. It would seem it is the same manufacturer. I have requested a replacement. I have not heard anything back from KD.
