The site size chart goes from A1 to A6, but the Isami does not use the A chart and goes form 3 to 7, with L in a few sizes. Which are the real Isami size for each A above?

The size chart used above (click on the blue ruler) will match up with the options in the drop down menu.

The ruler and drop box size matches, but it does not match the Isami original website or other websites selling the same Gi (e.g.; chokesports.com). It is incorrect, or the Kimono is not the same one made in Japan. The meassurements above is really generic as well.

Ronie - the ones on choke sports are made to European sizing, the one sold here are made to A1-A6 sizing.

5' 10" 180lbs 34in waist - should i still go w/ the A3 or are the pants huge like they are on Shureido gi's? Thanks.

I believe A3 is the right choice here. A2 would probably be too snug for comfort.

While this gi is expensive, it is well worth the money. It is bulletproof and well constructed. It is a double weave, but is very light and breathable in comparison to the other double weave I own. One thing to note is that the cuffs on this gi are pretty wide, similar to a judo gi. That may be a positive or drawback according to your preference. The fit is also very roomy in the shoulders which allow for great movement while rolling. Definitely my favorite gi to train in and well recommended.

Got this gi in all three colors over the years, and it's still my favorite. The price tag is worth it, it has lasted longer than any gi i've ever owned... it looks sweet... and it's the most comfortable gi i've ever owned or felt
