Ground Game has created a beautiful blue Jiu Jitsu Gi that celebrates the BJJ and surfing lifestyles. The "Surf Jitsu" is lined with a soft, comfortable rashguard material. Sublimated artwork runs along the entire interior, to the very bottom of the skirt and to the very ends of the sleeves (unlike other Gis which have interior lining extend only to the biceps area). That full-length sleeve lining results in a particularly soft feel against your elbows and forearms.
On the outside, the Gi isn't as loud or colorful but rather it's kept classy and tasteful. Small embroideries are located on each arm and high-quality woven patches are situated on the shoulders. Yellow accents and trim offer a nice pop against the royal blue Pearl weave fabric, which weighs in at 450 GSM and is 100% cotton. The pants are also 100% cotton and made from a lightweight, breathable 10 oz. ripstop weave. Ground Game has again used an innovative drawstring system, where the string is laced through one continuous channel rather than the usual multiple-loop setup. Since the drawstring channel is uninterrupted, there is no chance for the string to get snagged or pulled, meaning your pants are more securely tied once you cinch them up at the beginning of the class or match.
