All true martial artists are well acquainted with balance. After your first few weeks on the mat, you realize that the average human walking around doesn't truly have the sense of balance required to engage in serious grappling arts, and slowly learns to improve their base and stance in any given scenario. But Ground Game's new line of Gis are inspired by a different sort of balance... The Yin and Yang.

At first glance, even the jacket exterior and interior display an opposing but complementary balance. The exterior: Sturdy and strong, 450 GSM Pearl weave. The interior: Lightweight and breathable, lined with sublimated mesh fabric. The exterior: Relatively simple and clean in design and color. The interior: Colorful and dynamic graphics. Of course, these features not only resonate with the Yin and Yang forces, but make one hell of a fine kimono! And as always, Ground Game uses many, reinforcements throughout the Gi to ensure that it lasts you through as many training years as possible.

What makes this purchase more impressive is the added pair of pants. What's better than paying for one Gi and receiving one and a half Gis? The first pair is geared more toward day to day training, built from 12 oz canvas cotton, while the second pair is geared more toward competition or very hot days at the gym, built from 10 oz ripstop cotton. Both pairs feature full-length knee reinforcements to better cover your knees during ground-fighting, as well as a thick stretch drawstring that makes tying and untying leaps and bounds easier than with traditional flat strings. Last but not least, Ground Game implements a unique drawstring loop system, consisting of two ultra-long channels that guide the drawstring in one consistent straight line. Unlike other systems, these longer loops prevent your drawstring from riding upward during your more intense sparring sessions.
