im 205# 6ft with an athletic build.
the size five is right on the line of too small after it was washed(per instructions)
they fit perfectly now, but if a gained five pounds they wouldnt.
for the record i think the sizing chart is good, i just have larger legs than what the chart expects.
so if you hit the gym you might want to fudge up a size.

I purchased these for LARPing and after two combat filled events I am recommending them to my LARPing friends.

As a cotton blend, they look less anachronistic than sweat pants, as a heavy weight fabric they don't rip when caught by branches or sliding over rocks. The gusseted construction in the crotch means you can lunge without concern.

Regarding sizing, they came out of the box (too) long but after two washes the length shrunk about 3 inches. The width remained the same.

One caution - plan to wash once before wearing as they come out of the box as stiff as cardboard. They will soften up enough for wearing after only one wash though.

  

Very good pants! I ordered these pants together with the silk fu model and with a karate pant and this is the best of all the three for real hard training. These pants are also the best model I have ever purchased. Pay attention to the size. I choosed the length from the table showed above and after I received the pants I realised they suit me as wide and large, but for the length I need a number above.  

These are probably the best assembled pant I have purchased for all around work. My only complaint is that the ample ankle elastic can be too tight for long workouts and circulation.
The basic material and stitching are without compromise or comparison. Really well made.  

If you train a lot, these are the pants for you. The cotton/polyester blend means that they won't fade or wrinkle. They last forever! These pants are more comfortable than some that have less cotton.  

These are very good pants especially for kicks because they have the ankle ties that let you give a stronger force these fit me perfectly and they'll shrink a little after a wash.
