This bo is nice and light without the fragility you find in some super light competition staves. I really would have liked to have another 6 inches of length available, as the 5 foot is shorter than I like, but the 6 foot would have been too long. Either way, for the price I paid, it's a good staff to practice with, but I don't think I'll be using it in any contact drills.  

The keytag is great, just like a real belt! The KD label on it is fairly large and takes up most of one side... I'm going to take the time to remove it. Some might think this tag is bulky if they carry it in their pocket, but I actually like it as it makes it easy to fish my keys out.
