im 5' 9" and 170, with a longer than average "wing span"
Fit: If you are like me, and right in-between the a2 and a3 but like the more trim fit, get the a2 (its perfect) and DO NOT SHRINK!!! (wife accedentaly put it in the dryer)and the sleeves lost a good 1/2". the collar is good and stiff, and for me, the jacket does not go too far under the belt (some gis look like skirts they are so long......not a fan)
The Pants are awesome. being at the top end of height scale for the a2, they still fit PERFECT, and feel strong yet flexible. not baggy at all, and im a pretty lean 5'9"
only con would be the patch behind the "zen gorilla" patch in the front has started to untwine after 2 months of use. not a big deal, but something to note if you are OCD. but functionaly, this gi ROCKS. its a good gi, and the blue is MUCH richer and deeper than the pictures lead you to think. that being said, if you are a white belt, DO NOT GET THIS GI...........it will surely attract preditors if you catch my drift
