I am 5'7" at 160lbs so I got the A1. This gi is very soft and has a nice tailored fit on me. There was some stitching out of place on a small section of the bottom seam on the gi top, but my wife was able to remedy it without trouble. This gi has seen pretty heavy use lately with rolling 4x per week and has held up fine. I wash on cold/cold and hang dry and have experienced negligible shrinking in the top and none in the pants (that's what she said).

Actually I emailed rules@ibjjf.com and they told me that this gi is allowed in all IBJJF tournaments as long as you are not competing at black belt
