Product description states 1/2 inch thick. Does this mean it has 1/2 inch diameter?

A lot of money for just tape and balsa wood.

I was disappointed with these staffs. I felt like I could have made them my self.

Chrome Demonstration Bo Staff

This bo is really cool. I only gave it 4 stars because I like demo weapons with a little more decoration. Its really cool but it could use some color or something. It could use some griptape too.
