I got the wave and 4 point. I have the 4 point sharpened and it was a hassle to do so...the wave is extremely hard to sharpen. It takes a certain machine to do it. So far the 4 point is good but dulls out sometimes. They were smaller then expected but fly far. Overall an alright buy.(would like to have them delivered sharpened)

I got a dozen moon stars, and I used a grinder to sharpen them, and they work great. Even unsharpened, they will stick into wood, if it isn't too hard. However, if they are used in wood too often, they tend to become duller and duller, so the target probably is a better idea then a chunk of wood.

I bought one of each and they are great, but they are not sharpened and for me they don't stick into my targets that well. Now, I may be throwing it wrong, but it is an excellent product nonetheless

I got 3 of each. The waves are almost useless, I have yet to get a single one to stick, but both the moon and 4-point shurikens have stuck great for me (My actual preferance is moon). They did need a bit of sharpening to stick well, but for the price you can't beat em. Combined with the target board and the carrying pouch they're great for training, especially for beginners.

Awesome Product!
I ordered 4 of the moon shuriken. I am really satisfied with them. As it says they come unsharpened but they still stick well into wood. I am planning on buying more in the near future!

Get the 4 Points.
I purchased three 4 point stars and three moon stars. The moon stars are good if you want the star to bounce off your target, because they do not stick well. The 4 points stick in, if that's what you're looking for. However, the steel is difficult to sharpen, and they come unsharpened. These shuriken are also very thick, and would not be desireable to use against anything other than a flat piece of target board. I would suggest buying the 4 points, if anything.

Hi Lorice. You'll notice that the price says $3.95 each. That indicates that you purchase them one at a time. Sorry for any confusion on that front!

I ordered the 4 point Star looks great but not sharpened. Get your sharpening stone out and a bunch of water you'll need it.

Five stars for the four stars i bought. They definitely were all that i expected and a good buy. Didn't sharpen them because of my purpose for them at the time but once i do, they will be fun to practice with.

How do you properly throw a metal star?
I want to get a metal star but I don't know how to throw one. If Mr. Apsokardu can make a video for me I would be glad to buy one. If he can't thats fine THANKS.

Unfortunately this is out of my realm of experience, otherwise I would definitely make a video for you.
For now I'll have to send you to youtube where others have made an effort to explain the process - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OeZb0pQsOso

It's a bit of a liability thing, and also availability from manufacturers.

Normal stone sharpening techniques should be fine, especially if you have experience in sharpening knives.

Sorry Sean but we don't have control over that one. The manufacturers create them unsharpened, probably for liability purposes.

Sorry Jose but the selling and sending of weapons to other countries is a monitored and, in our case, disallowed activity.
I believe you'll have to find a German vendor!
All the best.

These feel more like toys than the real thing. The bigger kind are sharpened and fly and stick better. Also they are 5x more expensive. You get what you pay for.
