I recommend searching for an instructor in your area. Do a google search for "ninjutsi" or "bujinkan budo taijutsu". As for online, you might have to search youtube and see what you find.

Hit with silver sharpie, Realistic!

I followed the curvy hamon, something I've never seen on a bokken, with a silver sharpie. The result as you can see is quite realistic.

lol, its both stupid and cool, cool cause now it looks like metal, and stupid "IF" you use it in combo with uniform, blows away the stealth lol

Great uniform accessory

I ordered the ninja uniform for my Halloween costume and this came with it. I colored the edge and hamon of the blade with a silver sharpie and it became so realistic several people asked if my sword was real!

Not much to say on this one.
Good weight to it.
Probably won't break easily.
For the price it's a good buy.

It doesn't particularly impress me, but it will get the job done.

Wish it had a sheath though..

is this weapon illegal in California.

You'll want to check with your state's most recent legal developments. However, as far as I can determine, Bokken ownership is not illegal. Carrying it in public might get you into trouble though.

It's a plastic stick. How in the world could it be illegal? Numero uno, it ain't a weapon. It's a plastic stick. You couldn't hurt someone with it if you were actively trying, other than a couple bruises. Then their mom would beat you up.... Buy it, it's cool...

The handle is appx 9" long. The tsuba is made of polypropylene as well.
