I've been doing martial arts now since I've been about four years old learning everything I could on my own, since here in the woods where I live there aren't many dojos around.
I just recently joined a far away dojo so I can put what I've learned to good use and learn more, as well as get my martial arts belts so I can open my own dojo someday.
There isn't any weapon training at my dojo so I've had to learn that on my own as well.
I have always been interested in nunchaku every since I've been a little boy, I guess I can thank the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for that and I knew one day I had to learn nunchaku.
I have been doing nunchaku for quite awhile now and used many different styles of nunchucks and I have to say that this is my favorite by far.
At first I didn't think that this rope style would be very durable or strong but it is very durable.
I have been swinging it very fast and hitting some really hard things and it has held up great!
What I like the most about these nunchucks is the design, I was born in the year of the dragon and the dragon on these looks awesome!
the dragon is a bit hard to see at first because the carved in dragon design runs up and down both nunchucks front and back both but when you look at them for awhile you can see how awesome it looks.
These feel just fine in your hands and don't splinter off in any way.
When these first arrive the rope that holds them togeather is a bit rough and harder to swing but after some use it gets much better.
These are really great for beginners as well as experts, I've been searching for a long time and I still haven't found another pair of dragon nunchucks like this for this price anywhere.
I plan on getting another pair of these so I can have a pair in each hand and take my training to the next level.

Very well balanced: the two sides are within a couple grams of each in weight. Operates smoothly, though not quite as nicely imo as chucks with a ball-bearing/chain. Moderate in weight: each side weighs about 1.5 oz less than the ballbearing/chain chucks.  

Better than expected for the price, will definitely purchase more  

These are beautiful, my wife and I was impressed with the carving in the handles and the inlaid pieces. They're pretty enough to hang on the wall for show off purposes. They work like a gem, very smooth action and enough weight to sting the target (Body Opponent Bag or BOB), yet light enough to show off your moves. I really appreciated the design, where the hole at the top of the handles is carved out to form a V-shape so the three ropes don't rub against a sharp edge (they have three connecting pieces of rope for an extra margin over a two piece set up). The length of the connecting rope is just right.

For the price, these nunchaku are a bargain.

Received the nunchaku a few days ahead of schedule despite a snow storm, which was nice. Will use this company for future purchases.  

Just got them and boy are they terrific. Carefully designed and made, nice weight and balance, visually appealing due to dragon carvings. Length of string fits my hand exactly. What especially impressed me is the absence of sharp corners where the string comes out of the handle top, everything is rounded or sloped to avoid premature string wear and failure. And the nunchaku look professional.  

These nunchucks did not even last a month. Well, the string didn't. Also, the ones I got had a inward curve in the wood where the eyes of the dragon are. Don't be fooled; the jewel things in the wood will probably not be as shiny as they are in the picture. There are nunchucks just like these with the same pattern, but they have a chain AND they're cheaper. Get those instead.  

I have been using nunchaku for about a year, and have owned about six different pairs personally, and used about ten different pairs all together. as far as i am concerned these are my favorite rope style nunchaku I have used. They are very well balanced and sturdy, I have already knocked into a few things with a hard swing accidentally and they dont even have a mark on them. At first they will seem pretty slick in your hands but after using them for a while that will go away. Also if you are used to chain nunchaku they will take getting used to, especially if you use faster stronger techniques, but overall exellent purchase, exellent service, five stars easy.  

These are very nice for the price. The strings between the two chuks are a little long, but can be shortened with a little work and a hot glue gun.  

I'm still learning but I must say, these are the most balanced pair of nun chucks I've owned.  

These are amazing. Very solid wood, would recomend for anyone.
