These gloves come at a cheap price but not for your serious fighter. I honestly ripped the seem on the side of my right hand the first time i put them on and started hitting my everlast mitts i bought with them. Kind of disapointed for how long i waited to get them to have them ripp the first test.

do I need to get large if I want to were hand wraps under them?, I'm 6'1" 165 lbs,

For reference, I'm about 6'1" 170 lbs... and I wear the Regular with no wraps. Getting wraps under them wouldn't be an easy task as there isn't much wiggle room, I'd say go Large if you want to wear some wraps underneath.

Regular should fit best. I'm 6'2" and 165 lbs, regular fits great.

I own these and some everlast and these are right up there with them these were my first pair of grappling gloves two years ago and still going great glove the reason for four stars being grappling gloves could have gone with just a little more padding still love it though would buy them again

Definately awesome for the price.

I got a pair of these 2 months ago and they have been great. They fit really tight for the sizes though. I have not used them for full blown sparring but for exchange technique and light to medium sparring they are great.

beginner

My ten year old has requested a punching bag that is more serious than an air filled plastic one, so that he can let off steam. I have no background in boxing. Is it safe to get him gloves and a bag? What type would you reccommend? Is there a basic primer on just punching safely?

Hi Noh. Since your son is still developing physically and his bones are still shaping it is important to take a little extra precaution with impact training. Because of that I recommend gloves like these: bx-gl-65 with good padding and secure wrist protection. With that he should be fine to do some bag hitting!

A good, affordable bag to start with is the Nevatear 60 pounder: bx-hv-162.

We don't have a basic primer on punching right now but are building out more and more resources as we go!

I like my pair especially for the price tag. I do not use them for full blown sparring only light to medium sparring and exchange technique. They run tight on the sizes though.

boxing gloves?

these are listed as boxing gloves? anyone use them for boxing? I kind of think that the open finger design makes them good for mma only.

As the name of the item says, they are grappling gloves. You can not use them for boxing purposes only, they do not provide enough padding.

I got these a while back and all i have to say about them is that they are simply amazing. I love the strap to adjust for right fit, great protection and great for training and Competing. They offer a great amount of protection and are still cofmortable to wear, I am very pleased with this purchase and I have no regrets whatsoever. I use it for some sparring and punching bags, straight to the point. I recommend this product.
