Bo Staff
Tapered Hardwood Bo
This staff rocks. After 1/2 a year of having it, it still is in great working order. The only things bad about it is it is on the heavy side and if you do contact weapon sparring it may splinter like mine. It is very hard wood and I would recomend shining it and occasionally restaining it to keep it looking great.

Kama Case
Kama Briefcase
This case totally rocks out loud. If you want a cool case that will actually protect your kamas, get this one. You get what you pay for with this thing. If you have expensive demo kamas, like G-Force models, they generally cost a lot; so rather than taking the chance of getting them ruined, buy a case like this. It has a nice durable outer, with a soft red felt on the inside. Unlike other cases, this one won't scratch your kamas, if you have G-Force chrome kamas. It also doesn't bend easely so if you drop it, it will protect your kamas. If you want a good case, by this one.

Chrome Demonstration Bo Staff
Chrome Demonstration Bo Staff
This bo is really cool. I only gave it 4 stars because I like demo weapons with a little more decoration. Its really cool but it could use some color or something. It could use some griptape too.

Black Competition Kamas
Black Competition Kamas
These are really cool kamas. The look cool and dont slip out of your hands when you twirl or do advanced forms. These are great for practicing, and if your son or daughter wants some, these are for them. They are as safe as genuine kamas (kamas that aren't made of foam) can get.

Sai
Rubber Sai
These are pathetic. You would be better off buying Sais made of paper than these. If you just want some to practice indoors with, there ok, but my dojo is into contact and they broke so easily.

Answer to:
At our studio we must break a pine board that is 12in x 12in x 1 inch thick. My son . . .
Rebreakable Boards
Actually I think they have it labeled incorrectly on here. The most common board size broken is 10 inches by 12 inches and one inch thick. The green board sold here has the same break tension of a 10"x12"x1" board. A white board has about a quarter of that tension. If he needs to break a 12"x12" I would recommend getting a couple. Like a brown and a black. It's a wee bit spendy, but you have to also remember that all breaks are not considered equal, especially at your sons age. Okiken108 is definitely right. Just because it might be safe for him to do elbow strikes or kicks on a tougher board (like the black one here) doesn't mean he should often be doing things like punches, for instance. For that, pick up an easier board so he can still practice breaking with those techniques safely.
