Whether or not your sparring requires full-blown pads or not, these are a must to prevent bangs and bruises on the legs. They are practically invisible under your gi, are very comfortable, and can easily be used in conjunction with foot gear.  

Mouthguard case doesn't stay snapped closed. I have to use a rubber band. For the price (and the KD logo) they should give these away for folks who buy mouthguards from them.
