Tapered Hardwood Bo



I wanted a nice 6-foot Staff, so I ordered this...But I accidentally ordered a 5-Foot...But I got the staff about a week after I ordered it, and the second I picked it up, I fell in love...Sure, it's heavy - But that makes it perfect for practice. I hear a lot of people complaining about its weight, and here's the deal: Pay attention - There are regular Bo for sale, and then there are COMPETITION Bo. If you're going to spend money on something, pay attention to what it is.
Back to the staff! The tapering on mine was perfectly even and perfectly balanced - It was straight and solid, and again, I prefer the weight of this one to others because it helps you build strength (Just use a lighter one for Competitions and Shows)

Answer to: what is better for a beginner tapered white wax wood or hardwood?
White Wax Tapered Bo

It all really depends on what you do with the staff - If you're doing more slow Kata or fighting or things like that, Hardwood and Oak are perfect; If you're doing like crazy spinning and flipping and all that, definitely go with Waxwood, Rattan, or Lotus

If you wanted a bo to suit a kid, they sell a Youth Waxwood Bo, and this item has a link to it right on the page. You might actually want to try researching items before you buy them
