These just came today and im very impressed good weight good size my second time ordering from KD will definitly be ordering agian in the near future!  

This chuck is pretty good for training, the chain looks perfect with the wood. I really like it; however, the chain is a little longer than my old one, and the diameter is also smaller. But it is not a big problem because i'm gonna put on some tape to make it bigger and easy to catch. They are best nunchakus I've ever had. They deserve five stars. Thanks karatedepot.com.  

Pros:Nice and heavy (good for muscle excercises). Cons: Metal parts really suck and scratch my hands, so I also put some tape around (good now). Pros: The wood is hard and I can hit solid objects no problem. Cons: If you drop 'em on wet grass, they will slip out of your hand very easy.  

they are OK, but those metal parts wear out and start to scratch your hands REALLY bad. I just put some tape on it and it is OK. I'm planning on buying another one, to have a pair because they are nice and heavy to exercise your muscles.   

I have always loved nunchuks. They help me with a shoulder injury and also to help me relax and focus. These chuks are the first I've used in almost ten years, and I am satisfied with my purchase. They don't seem quite as inconsistent as other pairs, but they do need the usual careful handling. The weight of this set is on the higher end, so be cautious if you are just starting out. It's a great set for a great price, and the durability of the metal swivels are firm. Wood chips ever so slightly, but nothing that will affect your practice too greatly.  

I bought two pairs for practicing double Nunchaku. When I got them the weight was very surprising and so was the thickness but after I got use to the weight they are great. These Nunchaku have amazing smoothness and control without losing speed. A must buy and the price is great.  

I like it except it is a little heavier than the Octagon Cord Nunchaku I bought one year ago. Both the cord one and ball bearing one are 12''. I need more time to get used to this 'heavy' chuku. :)  

I've used plenty of nunchucks, yet when I got used to the weight, these chucks seemed to work wonders!  

These nunchaku are extremely well made. I bought a pair of these as a beginner and they have held up VERY well to the many many many drops to the cement floor of my basement! A little chipping, NO cracking and the ball bearings haven't degraded at all despite many direct hits with concrete! They've held up for a year and I expect them to continue to work well for me as I don't drop them nearly as much as I used to. Beginner or not I would highly recommend these. The only reason I gave 4 of 5 stars is because when I ordered two, they didn't match colors -shrug- not too bad but enough for me to knock it down a star.   

These are basic no frills Nunchaku. I bought two pair of 14's to use for practicing doubles. They are lightweight compared to most of the higher end sets. If you are looking for inexpensive practice chucks, these are the way to go. If you are looking for something nice to display these are not it. I am completely satisfied thus far, knowing full well what I bought them for.
