How to Put the Macho Warrior Cage on Headgear

Putting on Warrior Headgear for the first time can be tricky. In fact, it's important to remember that each style of facemask and headgear work best with other units of their own style (warrior with warrior, dyna with dyna, etc).

This video shows how to assemble the cage facemask and properly attach it to Warrior sparring headgear.

Everything that we were looking for

My son is very prone to nose-bleeds. He would go to the sparring classes and someone would accidentally touch his nose and blood would come gushing out. He has been to two sparring classes since we've purchased the cage.... and no nose bleeds!

This is just what we were seeking!

Very good cage

Using this for eskrima sparring. Offers very good protection and the visibility is great. The headgear fits a little bit snug with cage attached and won't go over my glasses, but is still comfortable. The installation video was very helpful!

Does this fit all sizes

I need to buy shields for myself, an adult male, and my 2 sons, ages 9 and 7. There is no size listed. Is this one size fits all, both child and adult?

Yes, you'll be able to attach this cage to headgear of any size. For the children's headgear you'll have to tweak the straps and how you attach it, but it will work. See the video above for attachment tips.

One great alternative for the kids is the universal face shield: pr-hd-74. Super easy to put on and can be used on any kind of helmet.

Small problem

This is just me making a mistake or something but i didnt realize that it just came with the cage and not the helmet. I thought it came with the helmet. What type of helmet do i have to get to attach the cage to it?

Fit over Glasses

Does this shield fit comfortably over glassses? Which is more fitted and protective this one or the plastic shield? This is going on an 11 year old girl with glasses...

Hi KS. I am a glasses wearer as well sometimes and I can tell you personally that the cage does fit comfortably over glasses. The plastic shield is a bit more fitted, but much more difficult to wear with glasses.

My opinion is to go with the cage.
