550 gsm pearl weave jacket
Incredibly soft and smooth jacket lining wicks away sweat and keeps you comfortable

Navy blue trim and embroideries

The 2nd Gi release from Scramble has been impressing fans since the first sneak peeks were released. Now that it's here, don't miss out on your Wave Kimono... it's even more impressive in person. The 550 gsm pearl weave jacket has a very clean looking white finish. The arms have Scramble Kimonos embroidered in navy blue, along with navy blue side vents. Inside the jacket is where this BJJ Gi really starts to shine. A lightweight rashguard-esque fabric lines the interior, fully sublimated and highly detailed... using the famous Hokusai artwork. The pants are lightweight cotton with subtle navy blue highlights and trim. Scramble Kimonos is embroidered on the right shin.

Good Gi.

Good quality gi. Nice workman ship and good quality materials. The lining does make it warm to train in warmer climates but it looks cool. Permalink

This is a rarer gi model so restocks are less frequent than our more standard items. We don't have any restocks currently on the way.

This is a specialty item that scramble doesn't produce as much as their standard models. We'll have to wait until they decide to run it again!

I'm 6'1 180lbs. should I do A2 or A3? Also is this Gi IBJJF approved?

A3 is the best size for you.
Unfortunately, the IBJJF has no sense of style, so this Gi is illegal!

An A1 would be a nice, form fitting choice but you wouldn't have any flexibility for shrinking. If you like to do hot washing and spin drying, go A2.

I think your best size would be the A2, but if you intend to do hot washes you may have to bump up to A3.

Really, really, liking this Gi although the rashguard lining should've continued down the sleeves (like my Tatami Spirit Of Japan). After removing the, scratchy, patch/tag it's now great. Pants are soft & light. Another reviewer stated that "it's just a $100 Gi with a $40 rashguard" & although I agree it's still a very nice Gi that I recommend to those who desire a simple, plain (patchless), rashguard lined Gi. And it arrived a day earlier .

I'd have to go a2 for you as long as you are willing to do cold wash and hang dry (avoiding any shrinking).

6'0, 155 lbs. Would A2 be perfect? The stats seem to be about the exact same as Tatami's A2L.

To play it safe I would probably recommend the A3. The A3 will provide you with some breathing space and the opportunity to shrink in the wash if you desire.

This gi is very light weight but absolutely stunning and very nice to roll in. I am mainly a judo player so for $200 I was expecting something that felt a ill more durable, then again my judo gi is a toraki dbl weave 10lb tank but it was built for throwing and competition. As far as bjj gi goes this thing is awesome and will update this review in a couple of months. My experience with scrambler products has been good they make quality gear, and I will buy from them again, and mas.
