Black Heavyweight Karate Uniform (11 oz.)
1 review
  • Traditional cut
  • Heavyweight 100% cotton (11 oz.)
  • Bound side vents with tie cords
  • Elastic waistband with drawstring
  • Triangular crotch panel for increased mobility
  • Available in mix-and-match sizing

For the serious martial artists, KD Elite has reserved this uniform. It's constructed from an 11 oz. super comfortable 100% cotton with 7 rows of stitching throughout the sleeves and cuffs. If you're not quite looking for a 14 oz. advanced uniform, but you still want that high-level snap in your gi, then this gi is for you. Experienced practitioners out there will appreciate the comfort and feel of this traditionally-cut heavyweight gi, as well its quick responsiveness.

On both sides of the gi jacket there are reinforced side vents as well as additional tie cords. These tie cords are easily adjustable and securely fastened for the best fit possible.

The gi pants are a very sturdy heavyweight polyester/cotton blend that offer the type of movement and responsiveness you'd expect from well-made Karate pants. The triangular crotch panel helps keep the pants comfortable while training high kicks, etc. This panel also keeps unnecessary stress from compromising the seams in the crotch area.

The waistband features a combination of elastic and drawstring. While the elastic comfortably accommodates a wide range of waist sizes, the added drawstring lets you cinch up the pants and secure minor adjustments before training.

For the KD Elite brand, you can order a mix-and-match uniform set. Please use the first pull-down menu to select a jacket size and the second pull-down menu to select pant size.

Great gi at a greater price. It will shrink but fits great. I don't wear black often but when I do, I chose my K/D Elite!
