Great product
The product is nice. Feels safe and protective from body injures due to its padded cushion. One down side is the black ink stamped dragon logo in the center tends to smear after several use's. Other then this small negative the nunchukas are very pretty and fun to play with.

I received these chucks about two weeks ago, and have been extremely happy with my purchase. They match my other pair perfectly which makes it easier practicing with both. The price was reasonable and I would definitely purchase them again, which I'll do very soon.

Very nice for the money!!!
I bought these for eventual practice and work with nunchaku for weapons certification. I have freaked my friend out several times taking 'hits' and laughing when she freaks out!!! LOL. They are safe (for most contact) and they are higher quality than I would have expected (even though I am a KD fan!!!)...

nunchucks
I use them for mental excercise . One of the best things for it. Also If you bump yourself it doe's not course any damage. Its made out of a nice rubbery subtance. Very good appearance and inpressive.Of course good for practice. Now if Iam going to find something wrong with them is that the Ball bearings need a little bet of machine oil very 3 months,if used or not,a lot of shit falls into the grear . from all over the place. I injoy stuff from karate depot. very Quick reponce and delivery. Thats about it ,good martial art supply source.

I don't have an exact weight for you mudan, but they are a little heftier than the typical foam pair with the nylon chord. That being said, it doesn't exactly simulate the weight of a solid pair of wooden nunchaku.

Great!
I have a pair of metal nunchucks, but I've had them for years, and they are starting to fade. A pair like these are a great replacement, and don't hurt as much when you hit your head! They are also flashy and great to perform. I love these things.

A Little Hard To Hold Near The Chain
I bought These along with the wp-nu-51 and the wp-nu-030. The foam on these is not even with the metal that the ball bearing sits in and makes holding these right at the tip a problem. Other than that, these had the best ball bearings i have ever felt, very smooth.

I'm not aware of restrictions in Missouri. However I can't speak officially so you may want to shoot an email to your local rep or police.

Carry these
I was curious if you can carry these rubber nunchucks on you. I plan to use them on Halloween. I live in Washington State, so is is illegal? Wasn't sure if the law is different with rubber ones?

Nunchaku laws tend to extend to rubber versions as well. However I'm not sure if those rules loosen on Halloween when it comes to public wear. You'll have to check with local authorities!

Unfortunately it is illegal for us to ship these into Massachusetts, even the foam variety. It's a bummer as these are about as dangerous as a nerf product, but the matter is out of our hands.

Yes this is a good choice. You still get the feel of regular nunchaku, but thanks to the rubber padding you can have fun and experiment without clunking your head or other body parts.

Hi Paul. Normally we have youth sized nunchaku but it seems that we are out of stock at the moment. Here's an 8-inch pair that might do the trick for you - http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_SPM6275627802P?sid=IDx20101019x00001a&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=SPM6275627802

Great Value!
I've bought three of these, the first time I was hesitant, the price seemed too good. It got here quickly and I loved it, the quality is amazing for the price, they've held up well. People who try them love them, so I usually give it to them and pick up a new one for myself, hence I'm on my third set. Great value!

Very well made!
I got these a while ago (2 years) and they are still in great shape! I noticed a lot of practice Nunchaku break easily or the foam becomes all bent out of shape but I have not seen any problems with this set. Recommended buy for anyone learning the art of Nunchaku!

More than worth it...
I bought 2 pairs of these for my training. When i showed up to class with them and explained how cheap the price was everyone was skeptical. But these nunchuku have proven to be superior in both the durability of the chain and the bearings. The nunchuku are extremely well built and for this price you can't pass it up. It is worth every penny and then some.

Is this a pair of nunchucks or just 1 set of nunchucks? I really need to know because I need a pair or I guess you would say 2 sets. I'm not really sure how to word it, but please let me know as soon as possible.

Howdy martialartman. I can appreciate your mom trying to keep you safe - that's what moms do!
Also, if you use these nunchaku without a proper teacher, you could end up thumping yourself.
That being said, with a little instruction these can be very safe. Hitting yourself with them doesn't really hurt because they are well padded.

Ball Bearing Nunchucks
My daughter's chucks were stolen at a tournament. We needed a replacement and fast. I placed my order and it was immediately filled and shipped. Very impressed with order placement and shipping.
The product is great too. They are the perfect weight. I would recommend them to anyone.

Overall, Great.
These are great for practice, a little light, but I modified it a little bit. I got the white ones, and it had a brown stain on it, about 8 inches long. Not to noticeable. Overall, I would say get these if you're going to practice. It SURE beats the hardwood ones I was practicing with... So many bruises. 4 Stars.

Hi John. We aren't associated with WTF, so we wouldn't have any insight into that. You'll want to go here - http://www.wtf.org/wtf_eng/main/main_eng.html, or contact your instructor/peers in the association.

Exellent
lol, when I got these, it was by missorder. when I call to replace my order they let me keep these. so despite them not being what I wanted, I tried`em out and...amazingly, there really nice. the inner core is the same plasic you would expect to find on walmart or dollar store brands but with the thick layer of foam on top, there as safe as a weapon can be. I out em to the test by reluctly slamming them into my head with a full force swing and to be totally honest...it hardly even phased me! the ball bearing chain feels smooth and seem of good quality(I'd say most of the six dollars you'll pay for these went into the chain.) I'd recomend these to anyone who's just starting and want high quality without the risk of hurting themselves or anyone else. for what the price, quality, service and freindliness. 10/10!

Weapons are always tricky when shipping overseas Carlo, especially the nunchaku. Ever since Bruce Lee made them famous many governing bodies have cracked down on owning and carrying them.

Hi Kirby. You'll definitely want to start her on foam or rubber, so I would recommend either the traditional size here:
wp-nu-30
or the youth size here:
wp-nu-029
. Allow her to train with padded nunchaku for a year or so and then switch her to the real wooden variety.

These might actually be a touch big for a seven year old. Consider the youth sized pair of the same item:

Practical
This item is very nice to train and to practice. I am a beginner and got the freestyle moves in seconds. The one downside is if you drop it alot, it will break, but i just taped it back up. Very Good Product.

They came in the mail 2 days before I expected! Keep in mind they are RUBBER and hollow PLASTIC and are not meant to strike things with, but to practice swinging em around so you don't hit yourself. If you're anything like me though, you smacked something and your chuck is broken. No problem! Wrap those suckers up with duct tape and wa-lah! The extra weight is nice aswell

These chucks worked really well, were balanced, and were a great help in learning some new things, but the actual nuncuck broke(not at the chain) right in half after only three days

I'm a beginner and this is pretty great. I hit myself a ton already and it doesn't hurt. :) The only gripe I have with it is that the chain is way too long. I'm an adult (21 years old) but I am 5 feet tall, and it would be best if I could remove 2 of the links.

highly recommended than the younger 8in v rubber
which I started with, which are great too
but these nuchucks are nice, great weight, length, and being a young person the length of chain is great. (would've been best if u removed 1 or 2).
good for practice not for hitting though.

These are pretty awesome, heres why:
1.) Got to my house two days before it was expected
2.) The plastic is not ultra-cheap toy sword-type plastic. Top-notch plastic (+2 stars)
3.) The first thing I did with these was eagerly tear off the top of the package, and swing them around. When I hit myself on the very first swing, it didn't hurt much! (+1)
4.) Its witheld MANY impacts with concrete and trees and the sort. And its not damaged, not even the rubber.(3+)

I have studied martial arts for less than 2 years and have developed an interest in weapons so I decided to buy a couple of things. I have never even held a pair of chucks until my order arrived. I think for my level I would have been better off getting the corded chuks as the ball bearing seems fast and maybe a little more difficult to control for my novice level, but I will get some instruction in class and I am sure these will do fine. These things are very soft with the padding and therefore risk of injury should be nil.

My son is wanting to learn the Nunchucks as part of his weapons training. I got these for him to use around the house. The rubber does tend to slide down the shaft but so far they are holding up to 8 and 7 year old boys.

I purchased these foam nunchaku's a couple of months ago and they are great. Practicing with wooden nunchaku's can be dangerous when you're first learning or practicing with an opponent. You're much better of using this. I have another pair very similar to the ones that I bought from Karate Depot and they are heavier. I prefer the ones from Karate Depot...

Nunchucks
Great nunchucks, though I do prefer metal and pine ones, these are perfect for dojo training as nobody gets hurt! I myself have accidentally knocked my sensi unconscious before, using pine, but this makes it a lot easier!

Great practice for beginners and experts
These were my first nunchaku aside from the cheap, plastic, wal-mart ones I got when I was younger (I'm still young, 14). I have practiced daily with these for over a year. I'm just kind of self teaching myself. Picking up whatever I can from books or other such things. I would probably still be in the hospital from the day I got them if they were wood...I hit myself so much with them. Now I'm really good and have no broken bones. I've never used corded so I have no problem with the ball-bearing, they are kind of squeaky but some WD-40 should fix that right up. I put clear packaging tape over the dragon symbol so I can still see the image clearly and it has very little wear. Some of the foam has ''cracked'' after hitting it on my dad's low ceiling during a practice session. Other than that...no damage. I like to practice on a mattress leaned up against a wall.

They're awsomness!
I had never used weapons before and believe it or not I hit my head a lot, luckily these are very safe and I didn't knock my brains out. The only down fall is the dragon insignia wore off after a while of use. Will hold together well if not pounded against a bed post. The pen cap things did fall out though.

A must-have for beginners and experts alike
it's an awesome product, very lightweight and fast. You can learn any new techniques without any bruises. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because they wear out pretty fast, and the foam tends to come off with repeated use. Everyone should have a pair of these on-hand, beginners and experts alike.

sigh.. disappointing
I am fairly experienced with the nunchaku and was thrilled when i finally recieved this. I had planned to use this to spar with my friend but just after 2 days of use, it had broken apart. I had lightly used it to practice my attacks on my wooden bed frame and i guess the plastic tube inside the foam wasnt too durable after all.

Very good for begginers, excellent durabillity, excellent speed, and you dont get hurt while using them!!!
I gave it four stars because they tend to bounce and my dragon logo disappeared after a month of use.

I bought one ball bearing rubber nunchuck and it works great for practicing how to fight with real nunchucks. The rubber foam stuff stays on really well. They makes a great present for any martial artist at almost any age. I highly recommend them.

Great for practice
These are very nice for practicing new movies or if you are a beginner. If I had a pair of these ages ago I wouldn't have hurt my self so much. My only complaint is the light weight. Aside from that they are great.

Great Nunchuck!!!
Very speedy, light, and silent in movement. The ultimate in practice nunchuks. They are very durable. I've hit them around a lot and they are in prime condition. The only thing that wears away is the dragon logo. Keep practicing with them, and they will be mastered in no time. I give it a 4 star rating because the foam slides off occasionally (with repetitive use).

very good for beginners / those who dont like to break things if they drop them
Good weight and balance, makes for some very fast movements. The swivel is very nice and right up along side the wooden nunchaku swivel in quality. I prefer these to the cord variant, these have a better weight and a slightly larger pvc tube in the middle, which I have found less brittle. These have a good good lifespan, and will last a long while unless you start striking other objects with them, which they are not designed for and therefore have a tendency to break on you. overall.. great value.
